A small dish as light as a feather and as thin as paper, made from Japanese elm wood by the artisans at Kihachi Kōbō in Yamanaka, Ishikawa Prefecture.

First turned by hand, the wood is then shaped in hot water, gently pinching it. A natural lacquer is then applied. A delicate Japanese handicraft, for everyday use (this bowl is suitable for food) or as a beautiful decorative object.

Each piece is unique and therefore has variations in tone and appearance.
