This photo, "The Dreamer, Hanoi, Vietnam" is part of the Series 1: "The Contour of Things".

The story behind the photo: A cafe in Hanoi, Vietnam. I walked past this room, which was empty. He was sitting at the back, contemplative. I didn't think about it and aimed my SLR at him. It was very fast, 1 single click in automatic mode, exactly with this framing. Did he see me? Maybe, no doubt. I left like the thief I was. Afterwards I felt very guilty. But a few years later I keep the memory of that moment perfectly intact. And I love this photo, his gaze that goes far, the position of his left hand, his uniform that matches the place, the flowers on the table that gives a sweetness to the character while his job seems to tell a different story, the atmosphere of the café that was so extraordinary, the August rain that fell in thick curtains.

Art photography, limited edition of 30 copies in total printed on Hahnemühle William Turner® Fine Art Photo Paper (310g), a very warm paper with a very pronounced grainy texture (watercolour paper, bringing a lot of intensity and personality), 100% white cotton.

Each print is numbered and signed by the photographer, Laurence Corteggiani, and is accompanied by its certificate of authenticity.
The photographs are sold unframed. 4 formats are available: 20x30cm; 30x45cm; 40x60cm and 50x75cm. The formats include a white margin around the photo, allowing the signature on the front in pencil.

The margins are included in the size indicated, so the photo (the image) itself is reduced in size to make room for the margins.

- Print total size: 20x30cm; margins all around 1cm; the photo (image) is therefore 18x28cm
- Print total size: 30x45cm; margins all around 2.5cm; the photo (image) is therefore 25x40cm
- Print total size: 40x60cm; margins all around 2.5cm; the photo (image) is therefore 35x55cm
- Print total size: 50x75cm; margins all around 2.5cm; the photo (image) is therefore 45x70cm

Shipping time of 10 working days maximum (prints are made on demand). Prints are carefully packed flat or rolled in cardboard tubes, depending on the size selected.
