A Japanese teapot made by Nankei, a family of craftsmen based in Mie prefecture that has been operating for several generations. They develop Banko yaki type ceramics which use a clay with a high iron content, perfect for enhancing the taste of green tea. It was made in partnership with POJ Studio, based in Kyoto.

The particularity of this teapot is that it is not glazed, allowing the heat of the clay to show through, giving it its purity and simplicity which will improve with time. It is made entirely by hand with several independent pieces that are then assembled for a perfect finish. Its capacity (150ml) makes it the perfect companion for solo or duo use with small cups.

A precious object of decoration in the spirit of wabi sabi that will bring all the delicate beauty of Japan into your home.
