A gift box assembled by us especially for the festive season, conveying all the beauty of Japan. In a lightweight white cardboard box, wrapped in a magnificent blue square fabric brought back from Seoul and dexterously tied using the timeless Korean pojagi technique, with a label and a maedup (decorative knot), you'll find :

  • A pouch with motifs in gorgeous shades of pink, beige and gold threads. This pouch is handmade in Kyōto using pieces of obi (the traditional belt worn over the kimono) richly woven in Nishijin, Kyōto's weavers' district. The Nishijin Ori technique is used for the weaving, which uses yarns dyed and woven into Kyōto's signature thick, rich and shimmering brocade. The inside of the pouch is silk in shades of marron and gold threads, and the double cord is a beautiful red.
  • A beautiful black box, reusable after use, containing 50gr of Hojicha tea from Yabukita (Uji) cultivars, a roasted green tea ideal for drinking all day long as it is very low in theine, assembled by Essence in Kyōto.
