2 Small Brass Spoons by Shunsuke Tanaka
These adorable little brass spoons were made by Shunsuke Tanaka, a craftsman born in 1975 in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. He completed a Master’s degree at Tama Art University in 2001 and now works from his studio in Gyōda, regularly exhibiting his work in galleries and Japanese craft fairs.
His spoons are shaped entirely by hand, hammering the brass blow by blow. This process deliberately leaves subtle irregularities and traces of the maker’s hand, giving each piece its unique character.
Their rounded forms and softness will bring a delicate touch of Japanese craftsmanship to your table or kitchen. Their perfect imperfection and simplicity are the quintessence of the Japanese Mingei spirit.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS Rub gently with a soft cloth and a little water if necessary. No dishwasher, oven, microwave. To remove oil stains, use a neutral detergent without abrasive.
