Kyunghee Shin, White Porcelain and the Gesture of Incense

An exhibition dedicated to Kyunghee Shin, presenting the work of this talented contemporary Korean ceramicist, who creates from her studio in Suwon, South Korea, white porcelain pieces renowned for the refinement of their forms, the delicacy of their sculpted decoration and their profound elegance.

A selection of incense holders, with flowers and insects sculpted directly into the still-soft material, revealing a sensitive approach to porcelain through objects designed to accompany everyday gestures with softness and refinement.
