Mitate, a Japanese concept that is an act of poetic interpretation, a shift of the gaze to perceive in a thing a meaning and a beauty that goes beyond its primary function.
Atelier Ikiwa's new collection, L'écho des objets, extends this concept: a curation of Objects to Live that carry within them much more than their appearance - they contain an emotion, that of connection, and a memory, that of gesture.
