This piece is the work of Park Sun-young, an artist based in Icheon, south of Seoul, a historical Korean ceramics location. As a potter, she once placed a peony on a piece and since then these flowers have become her life. She works in the Korean tradition of white and blue porcelain, creating contrasts of immense poetry.
