Living Objects: The new collection
SEIJAKU: THE SHARE OF SILENCE
Seijaku (/say-ja-koo/ - 静寂), a Japanese word that evokes profound silence, a stillness where agitation fades away, giving way to a renewed attention to the things around us.
In the incessant movement of the world, silence becomes precious. The beauty of objects, their forms, and their materials invites us to slow down, to take the time for contemplation.
Atelier Ikiwa's new collection, The Share of Silence, extends this concept: a curation of Living Objects chosen for their singular beauty and the special place they occupy in our homes.
Unveiled in several chapters until the end of November, the collection explores different realms of contemporary Japanese and Korean craftsmanship: ceramics, wood, lacquer, sekimori, incense, and other singular objects.
