Mitate (/mi-ta-té/ - 見立て), a Japanese concept which is an act of poetic interpretation, a shift in perspective to perceive in a thing a meaning and beauty that transcends its primary function.

Atelier Ikiwa's new collection, L'écho des objets, extends this concept: a curation of Living Objects that carry within them much more than their appearance - they contain an emotion, that of connection, and a memory, that of gesture.

This collection will be launched between October 19 and November 21, 2025, through different chapters, each corresponding to a specific category of new objects. Chapter 1: Ceramics from Japan and Korea. Chapter 2: Sekimori, the guardian stones of Japan.
