Mitate (/mi-ta-té/ - 見立て), a Japanese concept that is an act of poetic interpretation, a shift of the gaze to perceive in a thing a meaning and a beauty that go beyond its primary function.

Atelier Ikiwa's new collection, L'écho des objets, extends this concept: a curation of Living Objects that carry within them much more than their appearance - they contain an emotion, that of connection, and a memory, that of gesture.

This collection will be launched between October 19 and November 15, 2025, through different chapters, each corresponding to a specific category of new objects. The first chapter: ceramics from Japan and Korea.
